The National Maintenance Agreement Policy Committee is the first registered employment services committee in the construction industry. Its members are 14 national maintenance companies and 14 representatives of international trade unions participating in the construction department, AFL-CIO. The impartial secretary`s office manages the NMAPC program with full-time staff in Arlington, Virginia. The Committee is a proactive organization that meets regularly to manage the NMAPC program and create a national forum to promote cooperation in the field of labour management in the construction sector. Offers an inexpensive vehicle for experienced contractors and construction workers to perform maintenance and repair work for the U.S. industrial and manufacturing base. The vehicle is the NMAPC program, an employment service organization that can reduce labor costs by at least 16%. These savings include: the NMAPC manages the national maintenance contract and the national energy production contract.
